The management of Riverstone Resources is focused on increasing shareholder value through the complementary goals of conducting high quality exploration programs and the successful development of gold deposits in West Africa. The Company is managed by a highly experienced team of dedicated professionals, with proven track records in the junior resource sector.
The current focus of the Company is on Burkina Faso, where our property portfolio has grown from one to seventeen Exploration Permits since 2003. The Company has seven separate project areas, with one to four permits in each.
Riverstone is on target to expand resources to between 1 million and 1.25 million ounces of gold in all categories on one of these projects in 2008 (See "Karma Project" for detailed information and qualification). In total, the Company controls close to 3,500 square kilometres of highly prospective gold permits. The Company continues to assess opportunities in Burkina Faso and elsewhere in West Africa for both gold and uranium.
